Alice Wilkerson

Alice (Miller) Wilkerson was born June 9, 1967 to Mr. Herbert Miller, Jr. and Mrs. Minnie Murl Miller of Springville, AL. 

She confessed Christ and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Springville, AL. At the age of thirteen, she moved to Milwaukee, WI with her aunt Dottie Jean (Sanders) Brewster, where she attended and graduated from Casimir Pulaski High School in 1985. After graduation, she moved back to her hometown in Springville, AL. 

Alice was employed with Amerex Corporation in Trussville, AL for over thirty years until her health failed her. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. 

On January 20, 2026, Alice transitioned from discomfort and pain to be at rest with the Lord.

Alice was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Herbert Miller, Jr.; siblings, Anthony, Terry, Joyce, Danny, Gary, Christine, Monica, Phillip Miller, Phyllis (Miller) Watson, and Willie Fred Sanders. 

Those left to cherish precious memories are her mother, Minnie Murl Miller; a loving and devoted husband of twenty years, Walter Wilkerson; one step-daughter, Tieira Coleman; three grandchildren, Javaris (Juboo) Winston, Jamal Winston, and Sariya Coleman, all of Birmingham, AL; six siblings, Timothy Miller and Janice Miller, both of Pensacola, FL, Daniel Miller, Paul Miller, Cheryl Woody, and Jessica Miller, all of Birmingham, AL; two brothers-in-law, Eric (Katrina) Wilkerson and Melvin Wilkerson; one sister-in-law, Tanya Wilkerson, of Camp Hill, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
