Alvin D Watson

Alvin DeWayne Watson made his transition to eternal life on Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was the fourth child born to the union of the late Harold J. Watson, Sr. and Marynette N. Watson.  He was born on October 4, 1961. 

Alvin graduated from Emma Sansom High School in 1980. Alvin was very creative and talented. He loved working with his hands. Alvin was a very good drummer during his early years of life. He loved the beach and was an avid swimmer. He also was a very talented artist and loved to draw beautiful pictures. He was a very dedicated and hard worker. You could always find him working at Zigs BBQ with a smile. Anyone who knew him couldn’t help but to love him because he was so kind and had a heart of Gold. Alvin was a giver and loved giving to others and helping people. He was always joking and laughing with everyone. He loved his family and close friends dearly.

Alvin leaves cherished memories to his loving mother,  Marynette Watson, Gadsden, AL; daughters: Missy (Chris) Gautier, Atlanta, GA and Myonna Watson, Gadsden, AL; grandchild: Miles Gautier, Atlanta, GA; brothers: Harold Watson Jr, Gadsden, AL, Antonin (Carrie) Watson, Gadsden, AL, Terrance (Rena) Watson, Birmingham, AL, Stephen (Helen) Watson, Gadsden, AL, and Tommie Wallace Watson, Gadsden, AL; special friend: Maurice (Tracey) Ziegler, Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
