Mr. Andrew Hudson was born February 12, 1934 in Dallas County, Alabama to the late Mr. Booker T. Hudson, Sr. and Mrs. Savannah Hudson.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He retired from Smith Pride and Goldkist Poultry after forty eight years of service.
On March 9, 1991 he was united in holy matrimony with Norine Threatt. God enabled them to celebrate twenty nine years of marriage.
Andrew departed this life on March 9, 2020 at St. Vincent-St. Clair Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents: Booker and Savannah Hudson; brothers, Leon, John Hudson, and Booker T. Hudson; and sisters, Johnnie Mae Howard, Rosemary Holmes and Rosie Lee Accoff.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Norine T. Hudson; children, Antoinette, Latoya, and Lionel Threatt, all of Pell City; brothers, Bennie C Smith of Browns, AL., Charles Smith of North Carolina and Cleon (Diane) Smith of California; sisters, Leathia Smith of Birmingham, AL., and Trudy (Christopher) Poole of Florida; sisters-in-law, Martha Hudson and Lane (Greg) Moss and brothers-in-law, Arnold (Regina) McGraw and Floyd McGraw; special friends, Yancy Davis, Keith and Nicole Beavers, Sherrell Shepard, Kenny Gover, and Tommy Sanders; a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service.
