Obituary

Annie Mae Threatt was born on December 5, 1939, in St. Clair County to the late Hosie and Mrs. Dollie Singleton Threatt.

She departed this life on Thursday, April 20, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age.

Preceding her death was her siblings, Milton Franklin, Euleane McGraw, Ozeaner Lathon, Robert and Alex Threatt.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Terry (Maggie) Threatt; two daughters, Lorraine (Gerald) Kynard, and Darlene (Jessie) Posey; a grandson who she raised as a son, Terrance Posey; along with two other grandsons, Jeffery Threatt and David Kynard; four granddaughters, Melany Posey, Gerica Walton, Diamond Threatt, and Jada Moody; seven great-grandchildren; two special cousins, Helen Ogletree and Dot Turner; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
