Courtney Jackson

Ms. Courtney Jackson was born on April 12, 1968 to the late Barbara Jackson and Jerry Bustion in Gadsden, AL. She lived a joyous life and never met a stranger. Before her health began to decline, she served as a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was an astounding employee at Walmart and Jimmy's ValueMart. There were many people who she encountered in which she displayed agape love and humorous jokes.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jackson; father, Jerry Bustion; son, Corion Jackson; grandmother, Ms. Bessie Watts; aunt, Linda Jackson; two uncles, Percy Jackson and William Watts; all of Gadsden, AL.

Courtney departed this life on September 10, 2020. We will cherish every memory of the love she gave, the jokes she told, and remember the significant individual that she was. Jed was truly an icon to the community.

She leaves to cherish her loving companion, Jeffery Wright of Gadsden, AL; her son, Jeffery Jackson of Gadsden, AL; three sisters, Daphne Jackson, Amelphia Jackson, and Latisa Coleman, all of Gadsden, AL; three brothers, Paul and Tim Coleman, both of Gadsden, AL, and Carl of Detroit, MI; aunt, Virginia Jackson of Gadsden, AL; uncle, Carl Jackson of Gadsden, AL; special cousins, Kerry Jackson, Sherrell Timmons, and Laura Boley; special friends, Denise Tolbert, Patricia Rice Millhouse, Tammy Hightower, Jasmine Porter, and Keston Wright. She was loved and respected by her nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends including Gadsden High Class of '87.
