Demario Jovalyn Sanders was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 8, 1995 to the late Willis Kittrell and Shelly Sanders. He confessed Christ at the age of 18 under the leadership of Pastor Lonnie Orr at Christ In Me Church in Pell City, AL. Demario was a former student of both Pell City High and Lincoln High Schools. Demario had a pure heart, he always had a smile on his face and knew how to put a smile on anybody else's face, even if they were down and out. He was a helpful and caring person. Demario was known to his family and close friends as "Duke". Demario was silly, loved music and always put his family first, no matter what, he was very protective of others, and always said "I love you " and "Be safe". He wasn't a stranger to anyone.
On the evening of April 19, 2019, Demario was called to eternal rest.
Demario was preceded in death by his father, Willis Kittrell; brother, Davionne Sanders, grandmother, Barbara Sanders; grandfather, Joseph McGraw; and aunts, Alice Hightower and Lisa Sanders.
He is survived by his mother, Shelly Sanders; daughter, Ma'kiyah Sanders; siblings, Octavia (Sis) Sanders and Mekhi (Mook) Sanders; grandfather, Delbert Williams; great-grandmothers, Shelley Fomby and Barbara Williams; step-great grandmother, Lynda McGraw; step great-grandfather, James Fomby; aunts, Natisha Sanders, Britney Sanders and Tiasha Coleman; uncle, Mario Sanders; nephew and niece, Davione and Zariya; brothers at heart, Day Day and Jaylen; special friend, Quadijah McCaw; close friends (CTG); a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends.
