Dorothy Inez (Moore) Cannon born to the union of Clarence James Moore Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Vandergrift) Moore on February 8, 1957. Dorothy confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. C.L. Robinson at the Copper Springs Baptist Church.
Dorothy Cannon graduated from St. Clair High School on May 28th, 1976 and later started a job with Solomon Manufacturing as a seamstress. Dorothy later went on to work at such companies as Taylor Manufacturing of Leeds and then to EBSCO Bindery Company in Moody, AL. Dorothy later married her surviving husband, Henry Lewis Cannon, of 32 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Henry L. Cannon; sons, Randol (Leslie) Bryant, Quann (Shantaria) Cannon, ShaMichael Jordan, and Omar (Miranda) Cannon; sisters, Barbara J. Burt, Brenda (Clifford) Stockdale, Jackie H. Jackson, Gracie S. Hutchins, Minnie R. Moore, and Theresa Cannon; brothers, Clarence J. Moore, Jr., John O. Moore, Melvin D. Moore, and Danny C. Moore; ten grandchildren; special son, Daljett Stockdale: and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
