Mrs. Dorothy Dismuke Lindsey, the daughter of the late Jack and Alice Dismuke, was born April 26, 1938 in Gadsden, Alabama.
Dorothy accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and united with the Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. E.W. Jarrett.
Dorothy was reared in Gadsden and educated in the Gadsden Public School System. She was a 1957 graduate of Carver High School.
