Ms. Wyena Elaine Crozier Parker was born on March 20, 1953 to the union of Y.C. Crozier and Mary Emma Crozier of Gadsden, AL.
At an early age, Ms. Parker confessed Christ at Friendship Baptist Church under the late E.B. Radden where she later served on the Usher Board, The Helen Long Circle, and Chairman of the Culinary Committee for many years. Later in her adult life, Ms. Elaine Parker happily united with New Destiny Christian Church under Pastor Steve Smith. She was a member of Carver High School, class of 1972. She worked in the mid 70's at Queen City Foods. She then went to work at Holy Name of Jesus Hospital throughout the 80's, later renamed Riverview Regional Medical Center, before she became disabled.
She was a loving mom, widow, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, and friend. She loved to cook, and shop for clothes, shoes, purses, and jewelry. Whenever you saw her, she was dressed from head to toe, looking beautiful and fabulous as she was. She also loved her dog "Cookie" dearly.
On Wednesday, September 11, 2024 she gained her wings in Heavenly peace.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Parker; her mother and father; her sister, Lynn Richardson; and brother, Kalvin Crozier.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Sheila (David) Hardy; one son, Darrell (Melissa) Parker; two sisters, Pearlie Hardy Stallings and Helena Hoyt; four brothers, Henry Lewis Hardy, Y.C.
