Elder Fred E Utley

Elder Fred Elvis Utley, 62, of Pell City Alabama answered the master's call on December 20, 2019.  He peacefully went home to be with his father at his residence. 

Elder Utley was born on August 22, 1957 in Tenneesse to the late Mr. Fred Smith and Parlee Utley.  He married Missionary Dorothy Ragland on Sept. 24, 1996 at First Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bishop James Utley and Ross Utley.

Fred leaves to cherish his loving memories a devoted wife,  Dorothy Utley; daughters,  Ebony(Marlon) Sanders, Nancy Wynn, both of Pell City and Terina Ragland of Birmingham; sons, Ronald Jones of Pell City, James Ragland,  Kinte Ragland, Spencer Ragland, Fred B. Utley, all of Birmingham,  Kelvin Utley of Nashville and Adam Burrus of Texas; brothers, John(Barbara) Utley and Jerry Utley of Texas; sisters, Rebecca(Kenneth) Whitaker of Tennessee,  Evie Norfleet of Louisville KY, Mary Caudle of Indianapolis,  IN; twelve grandchildren; special friends, District Elder Lavelle Smith, Ollis Forman,  Ishmeal Boles, and District Elder Raymond Allen.  A host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Public viewing will be Saturday from 10-12 noon at Miracle Hill Church.
