Fred T. Carter, Jr., 31, Gadsden, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022.
He began this journey of life on August 7, 1991 to Ms. Keisha Tutt and Mr. Fred Carter, Sr. “Lil Fred” or “FreFred” to those who really knew him was highly loved by many. He had an infectious smile and a laugh that you would never forget. He had a caring heart, and he tried to make everyone happy. When he loved, he loved hard.
Lil Fred was a 2010 graduate of Gadsden City High School. In 2011, he went to Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kansas. He had a passion for football, and he will be remembered as a beast on the field. Later in life, his travels would take him back to New York, where he loved that NY life. Lil Fred never met a stranger and his southern hospitality followed him every where he went.
His death for us was so untimely, when God saw fit, He whispered and Lil Fred answered, departing from his earthly body on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Mr. George Jackson of Gadsden, AL; and the late Mrs. Carolynn Turner of Brooklyn, NY.
Those left to cherish his memories are his two beautiful sons who he loved dearly, Eric Carter, Gadsden, AL, and Silas Berkey, Murfreesboro, TN; Mother, Keisha Tutt, Brooklyn, NY; Father, Fred T. (Delicia) Carter, Sr., Gadsden, AL; Loving Grandmother, Yolanda Jackson, Gadsden, AL; Siblings, Tyrone Tutt, Schenectady, NY, Darius Turner, Gadsden, AL, LaParish Satterwhite, Gadsden, AL, Melia Carter, Brooklyn, NY, Cartel Rashad (Kassydi) Carter, Sr., Birmingham, AL, Trevonte Carter. Gadsden, AL; Aunt, Tonya (Terry) Agee, Gadsden, AL; Uncle, Anson Frederick (Amelia) Carter, Gadsden, AL; Special Aunts, Shelia Carter, Gadsden, AL, and Eva Lynn Crawford, Gadsden, AL; Special Friends, Anthony Swain, Jr., D.J. Huff, Josh Fomby, Dale Trimble, David Maness, Champ Haley, and Antonio Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
