James Robert “Bobby” Baynes, 79, of Pell City, AL was called home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, September 19, 2022 peacefully as he slept. Bobby, a humble, kind, and gentle man deeply loved all of his family and friends beyond measure. He was a hard working man all of his life even after retirement and in spite of his many debilitating health issues to support his family.
Bobby loved any activity outdoors in the sunshine, NASCAR, the Georgia Bull Dogs, and living the Lake life on Logan Martin with his best friend, his wife Yolie.
Bobby leaves behind his wife of thirty-three years, Yolanda “Yolie” Klass Baynes; his three daughters, Tammy DiSantis of Kemmerer, WY, Kimberly Edwards of Cumming, GA, and Kristal Sims of Alabaster, AL; step daughter, Karen Miller of Odenville, AL; five grandchildren, one of which he raised and loved as his own, Carley Poore of Center Point, AL; six great grandchildren, six sisters, one brother, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Bobby will forever be remembered as a free spirit with a heart of gold and to his “Girls” as the Greatest Man and Daddy a girl could ever ask for!!! With broken hearts and eyes filled with tears, we will miss you so but are forever grateful that your pain has ended as you rest peacefully in the arms of the Angels…
***Final Disposition will be that of Cremation***
