Jason Swope, Jr. was born November 2, 1994 in St. Clair county to Jason Swope Sr, and the late Lorrie Lynn Simmons Pierce. He made his transition to heaven on July 3, 2019.
He confessed christ and was baptized on April 23, 2017 by Pastor Jeff Deloach. He was a member of One Eighty Church in Springville, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorrie Pierce; grandmother, Louise Carden; grandfathers, Willie Charles and Bernie Simmons.
Jason was a 2014 graduate of Springville High School. He then joined the Alabama Army National Guard. He was promoted to Sergeant on February 2, 2019. He served as a member of the Alabama Military Honors Team, and was in the 166th Engineer Company.
Jason was loved tremendously by his friends and family, he will always be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need at any moment and his words of encouragement to everyone he came in contact with. He would light up a room with just his presence.
Those left to cherish his memories are his father, Jason Swope, Sr.; brothers, Terrell, Ronnie, Jude, Myers, Xavier, Kolaiskiviski; sisters, Miaiki(Nate), Konner, Savannah, J'Lynn, Jaysona, Jaciana and Erika; grandmother, Betty Hammond; three aunts; four uncles; five nieces; two nephews; his loving fiance Lacy Smith, a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles, other relatives, friends and all of his military family.
