As part of his academic journey, Jordan also had the opportunity to participate in the People to People Student Ambassador Program, traveling to Australia during his 6th grade year in 2009. The summer before entering high school in 2011, he traveled to India.

Jordan then matriculated to The University of West Alabama (UWA), graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications - with a focus in Sports Communications.  He was also a standout athlete with the UWA Football Team (Gulf South Conference).  During his tenure there he was Freshman of the Week (2015), Second Team All-Region (2016), First Team All-Conference (2018), Second Team All Region (2019), Second Team All-Conference (2019), UWA All Decade Team for 2010-2019 and 7th in GSC history in Tackles for Loss.
