Phyllis Watson was born February 3, 1965 to Mr. Herbert Miller, Jr. and Mrs. Minnie Murl Miller of Springville, AL.
Phyllis graduated from Springville High School in 1984. She confessed Christ and was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist.
In July of 2003, she met the love of her life, to whom she knew would love and cherish her throughout their lives. On February 19, 2005 they became husband and wife, which was the happiest day of her life. Her husband, Terrence Rhea Watson, Sr. was her caretaker throughout her sickness and he was the best caretaker anyone could ask for.
Phyllis worked for over 30 years until her health failed her.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Herbert Miller, Jr.; siblings, Anthony, Terry, Joyce, Danny and Gary Miller. Phyllis went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July, 24, 2021.
She leaves cherished memories to her loving and devoted husband, Terrance Rhea Watson, Sr.; two loving children, Joshua Louis and Brittany Beal; four grandchildren, Yasmine Evans, Janiya Hardrick, Journee Hardrick, and Ace Sanders, all of Birmingham, AL; eleven siblings, Freddie Sanders, Indianapolis, IN, Alice (Walter) Wilkerson, Jessica, Christine (Walter) Gaines, Paul Miller, all of Birmingham, AL, Cheryl Woody, Pell City, AL, Daniel (Antonette) Miller, Margaret, AL, Phillip Miller, Springville, AL, Timothy Miller, Janice Miller, both of Pensacola, FL, Monica Miller, Birmingham, AL; step-children, Lamesha (Ali) Watson Smith, Terrance Rhea Watson, Jr., and Tevin RayShawn Watson, all of Gadsden, AL; and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Phyllis had a best friend by her side, Marquita Wright, who was there for her until the end. Quita helped Ray with "Cookie" while he was at work and did an awesome job. Her daughter, Brittany and son-in-law, Dorrell, helped take care of her as well.
