Roosevelt Bush was born to the late Mr. L.G. Bush and the late Mrs. Lucille Bush on July 14, 1969. He was born and raised in Pell City, AL and graduated High School from Pell City High. He’s always been a hard working man. Shortly after graduating High School, he worked at Ham Sausage (now Royal Foods). He then moved on to work at Dean Sausage located in Attalla, AL where he worked most of his life for 24 years.
Roosevelt was very good at figuring out how to repair things around the house. He was very kind, very loving, and very giving. Mr. Bush had a very big heart and he would give you his last. He was a great friend. He would bbq for any and everyone that asked him to! He loved to grill! He also loved kids and would tend to other kids like they were his very own. He loved him some Kim, the type of love that was unconditional and so rare. His kindness will always be cherished by many and will NEVER be forgotten. Roosevelt left us to go on to the next life on February 6, 2022 at Grandview Medical in Birmingham, AL.
He leaves to cherish: his loving wife, Kim Hamby Bush; his children, Sheretta Hamby Holland, Jonathan (TaKecia) Hamby, Jalisa Hamby, late son Jerme Hamby: eight grandchildren: Tamiyah Holland, Julian holland, Aryiel Holland, Jonathan Hamby, Jr., Jaleya Hamby, Sassy Hamby, Braylon Posey, and Camden Luke; sisters, Norma Lu Bush, Carrie (Thomas) Wisdom, the late Waugh Dean Bush, and Nettie Bush; brothers, Jerry (Twinkle) Bush, L.D.
