Stephanie Dawn Heard Stone was born on February 22, 1963. She was the youngest of seven children born to the union of Howard and Ruthie Mae Miliner Heard. Stephanie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She recently rededicated her life to Christ.
Stephanie was educated in the Gadsden City School System. She attended L.V. Johnson Elementary School, General Forrest Junior High School and was a 1981 graduate of Gadsden High School. She was employed at Mid South Industries Inc. where she worked for many years. She retired from Keystone Foods after many years of service.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Stephanie was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Larry Stone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ruthie Mae Miliner Heard; grandparents, Elijah and Jerolena Miliner, Herbert and Inez Heard; brother, Terry Heard and sister, Sheldia Heard.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Larry Stone, Gadsden, AL; a loving and devoted daughter, TaShara (Elijah) Bynum, Gadsden, AL; stepson, Jeremy Stone, Atlanta, GA; step grandson, Asher Stone, Atlanta, GA; four brothers, Gregory (Wanda) Heard, Eric (Ann) Heard, Timothy (Felecia) Heard, all of Gadsden, AL and Michael Heard, Roanoke, AL; aunts, Bernice Ross, Regina Miliner, Nona Herring, Katherine Reeves, Frances Williams, Ora Heard and Rose Heard; uncles, Bobby Miliner, Roosevelt Heard, Chester Williams; sisters-in-law, Doretha Jones and Gloria Thomas, Atlanta, GA; brothers-in-law, Ernest Jones, Michael Jones, Willie Jones and Ricky Stone, all of Atlanta, GA; special friends, Mary Newly and Kate Woods; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
