Willie Robinson

Willie Edward "Boot" Robinson was born June 8, 1947 to the late Metokia and Evola Robinson of Pell City, AL. At an early age, Willie confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Willie transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his home. He joined his life with Nettie Bush, with almost 58 years to this union in which they had three children. "Boot" was employed at Riverside Refactories now known as Allied Minerals in Riverside, AL. He worked there for 45 years until his retirement in 2019.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Sondra Robinson, four brothers, Bill, Sheperd, LeOtis, and Meytokia, one sister, Estell "Mamie" Robinson, and his wife Nettie Bush, all of Pell City, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Ms. Beverly Bush, of Pell City, AL; two sons, Mr. William (Pam) Bush, of Pell City, AL, and Mr. Michael (LeShara) Bedford, of Alpine, AL; one sister, Catherine (Sam) Bowers, of White Plain, NY; special to him, Meleah Johnson and Robert Robinson; three sister-in-laws, Betty Robinson, of Pell City, AL, Norma Bush, and Carrie Wisdom, both of Columbus, GA; eight grandchildren, Chickita Bush, Elisha Bush, De'Onta Bush, Trevionne Bush, all of Pell City, AL, Brianne Armbrester, Jamichael Chatman, Mikell Armbrester, and Taylor Bedford, all of Alpine, AL; two great-grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
